I believe our greatest singers possess a depth of emotion that is equally as rare as their talent. It's why we love to hear them sing. They draw emotions out of us that help us cleanse our souls. So many times, though, their own souls remain laden with a heaviness that remains silently foreboding. The song “Why” is a tribute to all singers, famous or not, that have helped us improve our own lives by giving us the gifts of harmony, purity and self reflection.

When my friend Bill Bundy sent me the lyrics he wrote to the song “Why”, I mentally settled in with my own sense of connection to the Universal to receive the musical result. Here it is. Enjoy your own self-reflecting journey. Thanks for listening.
