"Home Team" and Instrumental for sing-along included too!
When I was first interested in recording this song - "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" by J. Norworth and A. Tilzer - I called the original publisher to find out if there was anything special I needed to do to bring it to market. I was informed that the song, written in 1906 and released in 1908, was in the public domain and anyone could record it and copyright their own rendition of it for public use and sale. That's what I've done here. I jazzed up the music and sang it in a jazzy style. I taylored it to each major league team, and away we go!. Celebrate your favorite team and the first great American sport that took our country by storm! Let me know how you like it. See Ya.
As of now the clips of the personalized "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" tracks do not contain the section of the song where you can hear your teams name. I'm working on resolving this with iTunes. Until then listen to tracks here: www.cdbaby.com/cd/eddyj10 and purchase the downloads from the iTunes link. Thanks for your understanding.
Lyrics:
Take Me Out To The Ball Game
Take me out to the ball game Take me out with the crowd Buy me some peanuts and crackerjack I don't care if I ever get back "Cause it's root, root, root for the home team If they don't win it's shame For it's one, two, three strikes you're out At the old ball game.
