Thanks for visiting. "OnlyOneWorld" has it's roots in a song I wrote in 1987. At the time I wanted to write a song with a socially conscious lyrical message. There has been quite an evolution since that time, in the song, in the world and in my own consciousness. Through the years as I revisit the "Only One World" song a message has become clear: Honor yourself, Honor the environment, Honor each other. In essence, "Only One World" is consciousness evolution into the affirmative. If we can increase the global conscious awareness of these three parameters I wonder how quickly the world will change for the better. And the beauty of it is this... As each of us personally adjusts our own thinking the collective thinking will take care of itself. Nature contains infinite organizing power. And we humans are nature. And all of nature is interconnected. Let's give Nature the tools to create a better world for all of us. And where human beings are concerned that means affirmative, higher quality thinking for all of us. Start with yourself. Nature will adjust the collective.
Intro: We can live together in harmony, Find the ways, together, harmony
Verse 1: Only one world with lush green forests Only one world with acid rain Only one world with deep blue oceans Only one world with environmental pain
Chorus: There's only one world So, Let's create greater ways to love And live in harmony With natural rhythms Gifts we've been given
Interlude: We can live together in harmony, Find the ways, together, harmony Verse 2: Only one world with peace Only one world with hate Only one world with discrimination Only one human race Chorus: There's only one world So, Let's create greater ways to love And live in harmony With natural rhythms Gifts we've been given
Interlude: We can live together in harmony, Find the ways, together, harmony
Verse 3: Only one people with compassion Vision and hope Only one people with solutions For a world trying to cope
Chorus: There's only one world So, Let's create greater ways to love And live in harmony With natural rhythms Gifts we've been given
Interlude: We can live together in harmony, Find the ways, together, harmony
There's only one world... Only one world...

It is estimated that the average person has over 60,000 thoughts per day. (Many of these thoughts a repetition of previous thoughts) Let's assume for the purposes of this discussion that 1/2 are negative and 1/2 are positive. If we imagine these thoughts on each side of a balancing scale they would even themselves out. But what happens if we become conscious of all of our thoughts, eliminate the negative ones, and place more and more of our thoughts on the affirmative side? Of course the scales tip in favor of the affirmative. And each time we think affirmative thoughts we strengthen our mind to think in an affirmative direction and eventually negative thoughts wither away from malnutrition and we arrive at an affirmative realization of life. It is at this point that the Universe must work in our favor. The components necessary for us to realize our dreams are delivered to us - almost like magic - but it's not magic - it's just the infinite organizing power of nature. Our job is to stay on course - believe - and let the Universe fill in the details. Remain affirmative. Embrace the Absolute. Do you believe that an apple seed planted in fertile soil and watered will not produce an apple tree? Of course you know it will. And this same principle of life will produce the fulfillment of your dreams when you align your thoughts with those of your greater purpose, stay on focus, and "water" them with an unwavering affirmative mental image of your completed dreams.
The first step is to Honor Yourself. You are a unique creation in all of the Cosmos. There never has been and there never will be another you. Your are the best you that there ever was or ever will be. Of course this is true of all humans. And when you understand and embody this concept you Honor Others and Our Planet as well, for you understand that a healthy environment around you creates and sustains a healthy you. So begin by Honoring Yourself - for even the golden rule falls flat if you don't start there.
