QB's record making day an inspiration
MINNEAPOLIS-Packers QB Brett Favre hit his record breaking touchdown pass number 421 in the first quarter. Number 422 came in the fourth quarter.
Green Bay is now 4-0 for the season after defeating the Vikings 23-16.
Favre's historic career has inspired one South Milwaukee songwriter.
"Eddy J" wrote the "Brett Favre Boogie" back in February. It's getting major play on the internet now.
Eddy tells CBS 58 that he had a premonition that something special would happen to the Packers long before the season began.
His website www.EddyJ.com also has dance instructions for the "boogie" and is getting hits from as far away as Brazil and Italy.
MILWAUKEE - From the man that brought you "I Love My Green Bay Packers" comes "Brett Favre Boogie." Eddy J., a local songwriter, composed his latest Packer tribute this winter.
"The 'Brett Favre Boogie' just delivered itself through me from wherever songs come from," he said. So did the namesake dance.
The songwriter, whose real name is Eddy Lemberger, is a regular performer at tailgate parties. That's where he thinks his new song will catch on.
"Since I've been at so many tailgate parties. I realized that tailgaters, they like to dance," he said.
He tried to teach it to Packer fans at the House of Harley in Greenfield. Only a few got up to dance, but it didn't take long before they got into the "Brett Favre Boogie."
