I wrote this song a decade ago but the original version had references in the lyrics that put it out of date with today. You learn things in songwriting. How to make songs universal, if that's your intention, and how to make songs event specific. And sometimes, songs you really think are going to click out there never seem to gather much steam, and others surprise you with the enthusiasm they attract. The real test... can a song stand the test of time. I believe "I Love My Brewers And You!" has that timeless quality that can make it a fan classic. It's sing-along bouncy and uplifting to our Brewers and the whole state of Wisconsin. And the lyric changes I made to it for this release really please my ear. Let's go Brewers! Our time is now!
