Eddy J Lemberger has been a leader in sports fan songs since way back in 1993 when he released his “I Love My Green Bay Packers!” (The Famous Packer Polka) original storied tribute to the team with the greatest and most unique tradition in all of professional sports. Since that time Eddy J has written and released many more Green Bay Packer fan songs and football fan songs, and his songs have been heard on numerous TV and radio networks nationally and internationally including (among others) CBS Sports, ESPN, HBO, Late night with Conan O’Brien, Canadian National TV Network, and Eddy J has logged numerous live TV and Radio appearances. (search Eddy J Lemberger on youtube) Through the 1990’s Green Bay Packers Super Bowl years Eddy J was the entertainer for Packer Fan Tours, the official tour company of the Green Bay Packers.
And now… by popular demand… the Brew Crew Boogaloo! Countless people have asked me when I was going to write a Milwaukee Brewers song since our Brewers are picking up steam and on the way to bringing a pennant to Wisconsin. My answer, “I’ve already written a song but wanted to wait to release it.” In fact, I had the idea to write the “Brew Crew Boogaloo!” a short time after writing the “Brett Favre Boogie!” and the “Oprah Polka!” and it finally popped out of my brain on July 27th, 2007.
The “Brew Crew Boogaloo!” has a tailgating dance… Just like the “Brett Favre Boogie!” Listen to the song and learn the dance. Let’s sing and dance all the way to a Milwaukee Brewers World Series Championship.
From my personal memory files:
My first experience with professional sports was attending Major League Baseball games at the old County Stadium in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. My father used to take me to “twi-night double-headers”. Remember those? My first game(s)… a twi-nighter… the Milwaukee Braves vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates. I remember well Hank Aaron and Eddie Mathews (for our Milwaukee Braves at that time) and Roberto Clemente in right field (for the Pirates)! Oh the good old days. But the good days are here now too! And we’re all feelin’ it!
